Edit: Package was found outside my door on Friday O_o I’m thinking it was misdelivered and maybe a neighbor dropped it off.

So a while back I ordered a bunch of coins to add to my collection. The order ships via Canada Post (the Canadian version of USPS), all is well Al is happy! The shipment is coming from Kitchner, Ontario so it takes a bit to reach Alberta, no big deal. Well as I’m stalking the tracking page for my shipment, I note that the status changes to ‘Successfully Delivered’ I note the time 7:24 AM. Well I realize that I was home 7:24 AM and there was no delivery.

No big deal right, maybe the postman just entered in an arbitrary delivery time. Im sure the package is waiting for me. Well I head home, hoping to unpack some new goodies. As I approach my door I find no delivery slip, something that is left on your handle if nobody was around to receive the package. Alright no big deal, maybe somebody was home to pick it up… nope. Ok no worries, maybe they just put it in the mailbox (half a block away from my house)… guess again. Still I remain optimistic, as it has happened before where Canada Post was just a day late delivering my parcel.

Enter New Day

Still no package. By this point the WTF bells are ringing in my head. Where is my parcel?!? So I fire off emails to Canada Post and Colonial Acres Coins (who I must say have a brilliant coin selection), so that I am not left not only empty handed but around a hundred dollars out of pocket. The wait begins.

Today still no package. So the waiting game begins. I’m quite dissapointed with this screw up as I was hoping to have the coins this week so I could photo them and post them up here. Oh well, Canada Post has come through for me up until now and I’m sure it will all turn out fine.
